DESCRIPTION

Use UptoPlay to play online the game M32-Q.

MIDAS M32-Q 1.1 for Android now adds stereo personal monitor mixing capabilities to the M32 Digital Mixer. Musicians can control their own monitor mix with full access to all 32 input channels individually or through the app's MCA (Mix Control Association) faders. The app will offer channel panorama sliders when mixing to a stereo aux bus. Each band member can group the inputs to four MCAs allowing for one-fader control over a group of channels, greatly simplifying the mix during performance.

Setup is simple just play online the free Android app and connect your smartphone or tablet to the same wireless network as the M32 console; various devices and display resolutions are supported, no additional hardware, no computer and no hassles. With no hard-coded limit to the number of users the MIDAS M32-Q will allow everyone in the band to take control of their own mix.

KEY FEATURES
- Select the Mix Bus for your Personal Monitoring Control from your Android smartphone or tablet
- Assign any combination of inputs to any of the four available MCA (mix control association) faders in the app

Comments:

Works great on my Samsung A20 Android. Did NOT have to put phone in Airplane mode but did have to close/reopen app after set up. Connected immediately and works great.

I love the idea but the navigation is terrible. Having a button for each page would be nice. It's also really slow to connect to the mixer, which isn't good if you lose connection before you can fine tune your mix. It would also be nice it you could save profiles for the mixes (not sure if that's something that can even be done through the app.

All worked well until around November. Now it does not want to stay connected. I am told that there has been an update for Apple but not for android. I gave it 4 stars based on the past. Please update as soon as possible.

I had trouble getting this connecting to the M32 board. After connecting to the same WiFi network as the sound board, the app wouldn't see the board. I found out that I had to put my phone in AIRPLANE mode, with WiFi on and connected to the same WiFi network as the board to get it to see and connect to the board. After that no trouble. I haven't used it with in-ear monitors yet, but will report back afterwards.

Meh. Took 30 minutes for band to play online then sign in. Then even more precious time to get settings right. I use a cheap 4 channel mixer to run my in-ears through. Works like a charm everytime. I just have FOH send me a cable, plug it in, then twist my own nobs til its just how I want it. I run a metronome app from my phone to it with an RCA breakout cable. Easy peasy & no hassles or playing without sound because monitors dont work. No app needed.'
