Using Yellow Plate's digital platforms, a vendor in the car rental or cab hire or taxi services business can digitize and increase his business and income. Given the COVID-19 situation, Yellow Plate is releasing its technology platforms and marketplace in 5 phases.

The 1st phase helps supply partners in the car rental business offering Airport taxis, City cabs, Rental cabs, Outstation cabs, Outstation one-way cabs, etc., to corporate or tour/travel or retail customers, and build and increase their supply. They using Partners app can create a business profile, attach their cars and drivers, invite other vendors in their network and combine the strength of their own and network cars, and track all own and network available cars. This phase helps the vendor partners become future-ready.

In the 2nd phase, supply partners can increase their retail or/and tour/travel and the hotel segment customers base and offer car rental services to their existing and new retail customers on mobile. They can send excess bookings to one or all vendors in their network or outside their network (vendor's marketplace) and earn commission income.

In the 3rd phase, Yellow Plate shall open its retail marketplace in cities where supply partners are using the Yellow Plate digital ecosystem. Retail customers can use the Yellow Plate customer app on the Play store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ideatransport.consumerapp&hl=en_IN&gl=US) or the website (https://cabs.yellowplate.in) to book airport, city, outstation, one-way cabs, etc. Since Yellow Plate is an enabling platform and doesnt provide services directly, the services shall be provided by supply partners using Yellow Plates digital ecosystem. The retail customers shall be able to track the cars, see car and driver documents, photos on the customer app.

The 4th phase involves Yellow Plate opening up its technology platforms to the corporate, hotels, events, and aggregators demand segments. In this phase, a supply partner can offer digital services to its corporate, hotel, events customers. In addition, Yellow Plate shall offer its technology platforms and the marketplace to corporates. A company taking cars on rent services from their vendors or hotels providing car rental services to their customers, or an Airline or online travel aggregators or travel companies offering taxi services to their customers, will be able to end-to-end digitize their car rental services requirements.

The 5th and final phase involves opening up Yellow Plates digital vendors' marketplace, where supply partners using the partners' app can list their business. Any non-retail customers (corporates, hotels, events, travel companies, etc.) can access the marketplace to find digital vendors across India. They can invite and add vendors to their network and start receiving digital services in few minutes.
