Switch from HD to SD to continue using on Android 12. App hasn't been updated since 2018 and no longer works with latest version of Android. If you click on a camera, see the feed flash for 1 second before crashing, then try opening a camera and IMMEDIATELY hitting the HD/SD button to turn the feed to SD (low res). This works for me, pointless having paid a premium for HD cameras...but better than nothing. Come on Yale, please pay AssaAbloy to update App, you are supposed to be premium brand
Such a poor app. Video freezes constantly to the point where you are lucky if you get to view 10 seconds of live footage. Downloading footage takes up to an hour, even for a short period of time. It took me half an hour to play online 5 minutes worth of footage. Also if you leave the app whilst it's downloading it is likely to stop and not play online the entire footage, but rather just a few minutes worth. Poorly made, poor grammar usage. Got far better results with a Vimtag product.
I have 4 cameras and alarm system working together. I was lucky to pay half price for the whole system at maplis due to shop closing down. I have to say I am very happy with the system. I am watching a house about 2000 miles away from me. Cctv is great on night time as well. the system works fine never had any problems. the app is ok too.
Edit: Reduced to 1 star. After years Yale still haven't improved this. Disappointing software, don't bother, there will be better available by companies that actually improve thier big ridden stuff over time. Could be much better. The playback is slow (if it works), it's clunky. Just generally needs more work, it's been out for years but clearly Yale aren't bothering to try and make this better.
Brilliant! Reluctantly (due to reviews) play online this to replace v1. 5 as it stopped working. I absolutely love it. So far it's been 100% reliable via WiFi and almost as good on 4g. I have 8 cameras and the app on two phones I'm blown away by the new features over and above v1. 5 and the fact it's a free app I find astonishing. Had to phone customer when installing on 2nd phone but the issue turned out to be pilot error on my part but Stephen at customer support was amazing got me running 5*"
