WIMER ALERTS, a.k.a Code Wimer.

Wireless Mobile Emergency Response Alert System (WiMER ALERTS) is a pioneering, innovative, information and communication technology initiative. Our cross-platform software application sends free public safety alerts (called protocols) to the mobile phones of subscribing Nigerian residents providing quick safety information to prepare people for protective action.

After submitting your sign-up request, you will receive a confirmation message within 24hrs. Thereafter you can start to send us safety reports (that is if you signed up as a subscriber and volunteer). If you join only as a subscriber you will receive safety alerts but you cannot send reports to us

Open the Wimer Alerts application on your phone(Tap the sliding menu on the right to display social platforms and on the left for alerts menu. You can also use the home button at the App footer) and enter your report in the pop up fields. Pictures can also be taken and uploaded via the Application. If there is no internet data/facility, you can still send safety report to us via the SMS function integrated into the application. The uploaded report/image is received and registered at the Wimer Alerts Command and Control Database Server for processing and generation of relevant safety alert code.

The safety alert is sent to all relevant subscribers in the WimerAlerts database at our own cost .
