I'm giving 2 stars because I can listen to wcbm on the bus ride to work. However, like a lot of the reviews here, I feel the app is bad. I send at least 2 logs in every day because the app disconnects and I get an error stating that it can't connect to the internet stream. Why is that? I'm not getting the same issue when I listen to WMAL's app on the way home. Ever. Traveling the same distance and route back. Maybe the WBAL developers should look at their appa and internet broadcast stream.
It is incredibly amazing that a popular radio station that I listen to a lot, cannot correct the horrible problems with it's app! If I do get connected to the station, within seconds or a few minutes it disconnects. Very frustrating. Many bad reviews over a long time period. Come on WCBM...this is not rocket science!
I love WCBM, but the app is horrible. I mainly use it to listen to Rush Limbaugh. But when listening, it will all of a sudden go back and repeat what it's just played. Very annoying. Doesn't just happen with Rush, news, commerical etc do the same. I have emailed the station but no help. With all the other apps out there, why should I keep listening to this one with this problem?
This app takes a long time to "buffer" at startup and drops out annoyingly often when other radio apps have no problems staying connected.
Recently, when I try to activate the app it tells me that internet connection is needed. I have internet connection for everything else, so what's the problem? Also, other radio station apps work fine. . It will not open the app and cannot listen to anything or have you anything. What's the deal?"
