View by Theme
Knitwear displayed according to themes based on trend forecasts can be viewed with realistic virtual samples.
Coordinated samples can be viewed against 360-degree backgrounds matched to each theme.

Knitwear Details
Select tag buttons located alongside each item to view specifications for that item (outside link).

Intuitive User Interface
Viewing 3D models is intuitive such as swiping to rotate and pinching-in and -out for zooming. Arrow keys are also available for panning and rotating. The origin button is used to return the model to its default position.

VR Mode

A 3D mark indicates the model can be viewed in 3D VR mode. Tap the VR goggle icon to launch VR mode. Use stereoscopic VR goggles with your smartphone for best results. The model rotates by tilting your head in either direction.

AR Mode
You can place a virtual model in the actual landscape in front of you.
Rotate the model, adjust the intensity and direction of the lighting, and take a screenshot.

Ultra-Realistic Knit Fabric Viewer
You can check the ultra-realistic knit fabric that fully reproduces the 3 dimensional effect and realistic texture even when magnified.
You can view the knitted fabric by switching between front and back sides.

Push Notification
VR-knit.com delivers additional information about new samples as well as the latest trend information by push notification.

Some functions may be limited depending on certain models and software versions of smart devices.

About SDS-ONE APEX series

SDS-ONE APEX series is SHIMA SEIKI's 3D design system that supports the entire knit product supply chain from planning and design to production and sales promotion.
By using high-quality simulations based on scans of actual yarns, realistic virtual samples can be used for evaluating designs before producing actual knit samples.
Because the final product image can be produced in 3D, knit collections can be presented using apps such as VR-knit.com without the need for actual samples.
Knitting machine data is also prepared along with virtual samples, so communication with the knit factory can be performed smoothly once that design is approved for production.
