The camera and app are limited but I expected that for the price. Make sure you have camera plugged in to connect because it uses a ton of battery. Also, Very IMPORTANT, make sure you have the correct app!!! I didn't get the right one first. So many impatient people putting bad reviews because they don't take the time to check if they made a mistake.
No rotation, no option for full screen, have to turn off my mobile data to connect, not capable of streaming with, this app is poorly designed. If you want to stand toe to toe with GOPRO you should step up the functionality for users are n the age of live streaming capabilities. This app could be a big reason of returns even if the camera is 100% functional.
I didn't expect the app to actually work, still has a few bugs to work out and the settings menu needs to be completed, other than that, excellent app in the making. I could not find an online manual for this model, I found this app while searching Google. complete the settings menu, add a gallery, and an instant share button, then I will give 5 stars....
`just bought the camera because of this feature and guess what? the app doesn't even work!!!! it freezes automatically as soon as you go to "connect the camera" it's connected via WiFi teather to my phone!! why am I having to go through this needless step anyway??? it just freezes. either fix it or put up a web page to do it from because like the rest of your products your app development sucks too apparently. fix it or I'm returning the product and never buying another Vivitar brand anything!!!`,This camera creates it's own hotspot that you need to connect to to make it work. Does not use your home wifi. However I have not found a manual for the camera so you have to figure out everything on your own. The pc program also doesn't work properly. Only works from the menu, not the icons."
