Vila Rosa play online

Vila Rosa (an AR application) is a part of the doctoral art project "Villa Rosa illustrated interactive book".
The aim of the doctoral art project `Villa Rosa illustrated interactive book` is studying new methods of text illustration and realizing their influence on the young reading audience.
The task of the thesis is show the possibilities of using new technologies with the aim of expanding the observer`s knowledge, as well as to show the potential of using recognizable codes which contain specific qualitative information within the domain of contemporary illustrations. In this thesis, the simple visual units are used which, comparing to the order in the arranged system, become a recognizable code which contain information and encourage the observer in the further analysis and activation.
The practical part of the project deals with the relationship between a two- dimensional illustration which has contained particular information and three- dimensional live illustration decoded messages made in the area of the augmented reality.
The final idea is to find the appropriate visual language which will enable the observers, regarding the young reading audience, to get to know different natural phenomena and provide a possibility of new interpretations of the work `Villa Rosa` by Violeta Jovic.
