Victor and Victorias Pet Town was produced to help young children learn about responsible pet ownership and living safely with dogs. The program is supported by comprehensive Parents and Teachers sections which incorporate extensive curriculum materials and are supported by a range of engaging student resources.

The Program's primary focus is on teaching students about dog safety including:
When dogs should be left alone
Things we should not do to dogs
How can you tell if a dog is happy, frightened or angry
A safe way to approach and greet a dog
What to do if approached by an unknown or aggressive dog.
