The TEAN learning app for the analog clock offers you 11 different dials so that you can train at your own pace and then read the clock quickly and safely in any situation. The text display can be selected between 11 languages.

These considerations prompted us to develop the TEAN app. For children who are learning, but also for teenagers and young adults who want to learn reading time again. In fact, we observe that young people, starting at the age of 13-15, when they get mobile phones, tablets and computers, stop reading the time on the analog clock. Everything is digital and they simply loose the intuitive ability to read the time based on the position of two hands. However, understanding an analog clock face is an important foundation for learning other abstract skills.

The TEAN analog clock learning app offers a range of 11 selectable sequential clock faces for learning three skills:

- Reading the exact time on a 24-hour clock face.
- Learn reading time from the position of the hands instead from numbers. Our sequence of animated clock dials will guide you.
- The pronunciation of time in 11 languages

The meaning of the buttons:

TRAINING
Pressing this button moves the hands to a random time position. Here you can practice your skills.

NOW
This button takes you from training mode back to the current time.

AM/PM
This button shows a small AM or PM sign in the center of the dial, depending upon the daytime.

LEVEL
Here you can set the difficulty of the learning level from "Beginner" to "Expert". 3 Levels are for free, the others can be accessed upon purchase.
With the additional level Roman we offer a clock dial with Roman numerals, just like those found on the church towers.

LANGUAGE
Select one of the 11 preset languages for the text display and then display it with the button Touch to show time expression. French language and digital clock are for free, the others can be accessed upon purchase.

TOUCH TO SHOW TIME EXPRESSION
By touching this button, the time indicated by the hands of the clock dial is shown here as text expression. This is especially useful for learning terms like a quarter to four or half past six. Digital clock and French language are for free, the others can be accessed upon purchase.
