Overall the app is great, although advanced search functionality is hampered by the fact dropdown boxes do not allow any selections (bug?), however sliders and checkboxes work as intended. With that said, parametric and part search are practically useless without dropdown support. In app documentation for parts and applications is excellent.
So I was in bed half asleep, and I was thinking I really needed an mcu with dual CAN bus. I then thought, it would be cool if I could use an app to find it instead of messing with poorly mobile optimized websites. I was really happy when I found this app, but it crashes immediately at startup. EDIT: the developer replied to my comment a year later, I tried to install the app again, it still crashes as soon as you launch it ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯
In parametric search, cannot select items from dropdown menus. This used to work but is now broken. Please fix. Edit: The behaviour and attitude of ST towards it's long term customers during this component crisis has been disgusting. This is going to hurt ST long term. We've been instructed to replqce all ST parts in existing product and NEVER use an ST part ever again - I'm sure we're not alone.
`It's been almost 3 years since the last update and you said April last year we could expect a new release soon, "Stay Tuned" come on, lift your game I am getting an error where it says I need connectivity to play online the MCU list. I have connectivity and there is no problem with any other app I have which requires internet connectivity. ST need to realise that newcomers to the MCU market will be turned off your products if you have such buggy software with little to no interest in fixing it.`,Doesn't work/load at all. As others said it fails because ST won't provide connectivity. Junk. Don't bother. ST micros I love... their apps, libraries and supprt software though is always out of date, malfunctioning or unmaintained."
