DESCRIPTION

Use UptoPlay to play online the game Soma Cube.

Soma Cube is a 3D puzzle game invented by Piet Hein in 1933. Inspired by pentomino puzzles it is a collection of seven pieces (polycubes) made out of unit cubes which must be assembled into a 3x3 cube. It is also know under the name Block by Block.

The seven pieces can be used to make many different 3D shapes. Currently the game has 60 different shapes to solve. Each puzzle has its own leaderboard. The game also has several achievements.

Comments:

Either you can move a shape to the table or you can rotate it. Once you apply either placement or rotation the game is stuck in that mode. Once a piece is placed it is stuck in stone/concrete. It cannot be repositioned or rotated. Great idea for a game, but a lot of either work or documentation with the controls is needed!

Terrible, wish I can put minus 1 star. Controls are completely incomprehensible. Cannot put figures in place where they fit. What a way to make a poor program out of a grest puzzle

terrible game. difficult to maneuver pieces. too often pieces are accidentally placed. no way to correct an accidental placement.

Like another reviewer I cant move the piece once it is set down. This is on an S9. having a list of Puzzles will be nice for playing with a physical Soma cube though.

this is a great game but it has a lot go forward, an undo and redo buttons would be great, it's really confusing whether one block can be moved once or the game is sticky."
