This app actually does work just fine... I tested it out before I went to bed. I set it to record, locked my phone, set it down, and waited. Then I made some humming noises and it did record them but only the humming noises were recorded. So when I awoke to no recordings and my battery was slightly drained, I assume the app was listening all night but I just didn't talk in my sleep that particular time. I'll keep trying and come back to review again.
It records while my phone is locked. It even records while im watching netflix on my phone (with headphones) which is the same phone this app is on and it records just fine. Amd my favorite part is it delete the empty noise for you, so you only get the noisy bits! Its exactly what i was looking for. Im happy. (:
I can't seem to record anything other than me picking up the phone to turn it off. I set it down at night, start recorder, watch it countdown then start recording but then in the morning there is nothing even though i cough or my husband snores. We lowered the decibels too. Not sure what is happening as no instructions. Records perfectly me picking up phone and turning off recorder.
some instructions would be helpful but it is quite straightforward however to operate this app you have to first go into settings which is the cog you then set your start & stop timers . Press the up and down arrows to set the timer to start maximum. For example 5-minutes. When the recorder starts to record the screen will go green and will start recording. The user can stop at any time and the instructions are self explanatory. To playback instructions are also straight forward.
Tried the app for a few days, set it to record for 8 hours(the max) and it seems to record only for the first few minutes after my phone is locked. I tested it after the first hour of it recording with my screen locked and when i checked again later it did not record any noise post locking my phone.'
