Ruapekapeka play online

This application provides an immersive tour of the Ruapekapeka pa site. There are a range of six experiences including:

- four video experiences
- an augmented reality experience where users can fire the carronade
- an augmented reality experience that brings the huia back to life

Your GPS location will be used to notify you of points of interest around the track where these can be experienced, announced by the call of a kiwi and a phone vibration.

The Carronade is an augmented reality experience that requires the user to point the camera at the artifact to create an overlay.

The Huia Bird represents a kaitiaki that will provide a notification to the mobile. The user is required to point their phone towards the ground to enable the experience.
