This can be frustrating for both the learner and their conversation partner. This app was designed for both those with little to no knowledge of the ASL fingerspelling alphabet and for those who need practice with rapidly fingerspelled words. Use the Learn page to reference the handshapes that correspond to each letter. Use the Letter Game to quiz yourself on the letters. I like the app, it's a great design and concept. The only issue is that there is a slight gap between each image, so at high speeds there is a strong flickering effect which is really distracting and hard to read. I think it's much more useful for beginners.
This is just what I needed! I've never used an app with zero reviews before but after reading the description, I knew I found what I was looking for. I progressed to words quickly and was delighted to find that I could adjust the speed of the letters shown as well as the number of letters in the words. The ads were frequent at first, but show up rarely now. I enjoy the clean look of the app. It's very easy to use.
