The Indonesian Military Academy Selection is a series of tests and selection stages that must be followed by prospective Indonesian Military Academy (Akmil) students. This selection aims to select prospective students who have the best potential and ability to become military officers in the TNI.

The selection stages for the Indonesian Military Academy include:

Registration: Prospective students must register online through the official Akmil website. Registration is open every year and is limited by a predetermined quota.

Academic Potential Test (TPA): The TPA test is conducted to measure the verbal, numerical, and logical abilities of prospective students.

Health Tests: Health tests include physical and mental examinations, including urine and blood tests.

Physical fitness test (TNI): The TNI physical aptitude test aims to evaluate the physical readiness of prospective students.

Interview Test: Prospective students will be interviewed by the selection team to assess interpersonal skills and personality.

Psychological Tests: Psychological tests include personality tests and interest and aptitude tests.

English Test: An English test is conducted to assess the English language ability of prospective students.

After going through all the selection stages, prospective students who qualify will attend a four-year education at the Military Academy in Magelang, Central Java. During their education period, students will receive military education, academic education, and leadership training to become military officers who are ready to carry out the assigned tasks and missions. After graduating from the Akmil, students are appointed as Second Lieutenants and are expected to make a significant contribution to the country and society.
