Progressive Recognised Teachers Union Telangana State is the largest membership teachers' union in the state, formed on February 9, 1971 (formerly Andhra Pradesh) and achieved many facilities for teachers. The Telangana State Legislative Council is have 3 Teacher consistuencies which were represented by our Union representatives and currently has 2 Members of the Legislative Council, State President and General Secretary are constantly discussing teacher issues with the MLCs and represents to government and obtaining government orders.
