Podiaclic is an application created in January 2020, developed in collaboration between the diabetology department of La Rochelle hospital, a general medicine intern and a smartphone application developer.

It is based on the latest recommendations of the International Working Group on the Diabetic Foot (IWGDF) of 2019 concerning the management of diabetic feet.

The latest studies show that diabetic patients with foot sores are referred to hospital diabetology reference centers too late.

Podiaclick was designed to help general practitioners in the care of these patients by reducing the time between diagnosis and hospital care when necessary. This application offers support for the patient's care pathway without replacing the practitioner's expertise.
