Using the same technology as Morning Farm Report, Pocket Rain Gauge delivers highly accurate rainfall measurements based off your location. Rainfall measurements are calculated using our custom big data infrastructure and output from NOAA and NWS satellites.
To make sure we deliver the highest quality rainfall measurements, weve included feedback functionality so you can let us know how accurate our measurements are. If Pocket Rain Gauge says you got 1.3 inches of rain, but you know your field actually got 1.6 inches, let us know. Well use your feedback to make our measurements even better.

Generally accurate. Use it to watch approximate rain totals for my work location when I'm away from the site. Usually fairly close to what my weather station will read once I check it on site and compare within the app. You can also input your own totals to help with readings.
Not accurate, been raining hard past four hours...shows 1/100 of an inch...same always. Useless!
Want an app, with the option of putting in other locations, fields and other places! If this had that it would be better, and a way to store the amounts for a couple weeks at least!
`Again today..app says "no rain" in ladt 24 hours when it poured several tmes beginning by at least 2 am...my deck was soaked, ground previously cracking from dry summer is now wet several inches down at least. This is about 3rd time in last few months I've had rain and app said i didn't. Look for a more accurate app.`,Works good for your current location but won't let me add fields or any other locations. Doesn't help me at all."
