Story:
"What can change the nature of a man?"
You are the Nameless One, a hulking figure covered in scars and tattoos collected over the course of countless livesnone of which you can remember, but are now coming back to haunt you. You are prodded awake by Morte, a floating skull and keeper of secrets, to embark on an adventure taking The Nameless One from the dirty streets of Sigil into the mysterious Outer Planes and even into the depths of Hell itself.
In your search for answers, you'll find companions matching the bizarre nature of the planes: a chaste succubus who can kill with a kiss, a confused crossbow-wielding cube, a suit of armor animated by a spirit demanding JUSTICE, and more. With these companions and others at The Nameless Ones side, you will explore worlds in search of answers, all to discover that some destinies cannot be escaped and some memories cost more than an even an immortal can bear.

3 stars because Torment is one of the best RPGs of all time. Not 5 stars because whoever ported this to Android has no concept of UI design. They put the right click actions on the bottom UI bar (good), but made the buttons so thin that even with a stylus or tablet they're still problematic. What is most infuriating about this is there's a huge amount of wasted bar space on either side of the buttons. Why they didn't make the buttons wider and use up every precious bit of UI space is baffling.
`Was hesitant to play online at first because of other reviewers talk of problems, "Didn't purchase" problems and issues with newer Android versions. But decided to take the risk and I am glad I did. So far it is just as I remember it from the original except for sharper, cleaner graphics and better audio soundtrack. It is running fine for me on my new Galaxy s20+ with Android 10. The screen is slightly smaller than the recommended 7" but it is still manageable, even with my "fat fingers."`, `Edited from below: Always own up to your mistakes. Just can't understand how a game labeled "premium that I paid for, has ads popping up in game. Story, visual design, and world all pulled me in. Very unique! Also great sounds & good GUI. It's a dialogue-driven story. Don't be put off by starting in the weird mortuary; they are not the bad guys, there's a whole city, and this world is a different culture. Characters are great. You can change class any time. Plus lim-lims! Tons of guidance online. Amazing story. Interface has small buttons for phone, but am playing on my Note without a stylus.
`Idk, I was totally able to get this to work on Chome. It works fine actually minus the F1 through F5 keys not being available on Chrome OS, but yeah, it totally works. Even with a mouse it works, double-clicking for quick inventory managament, left click mouse panning, "Q" is quicksave, "WASD" pulls up various menus, "I" for inventory, "Back" functions as the "ESC" key. I'm totally impressed, it basically functions like a Linux port for Chrome which runs in Andriod (as long as your device supports Playstore integration, I guess) It's a tiny bit jank, but it's more than functional. Now I want to try the rest of the Beamdog remastered collection to see if they work in Chrome OS as well. Hopefully the Devs respond and might update their info on this page to include partial Chrome OS integration as well. I'm very impressed.`Page navigation:
