This immersive experience will transform and augment your environment using the artists unique style, art and imagination.

App concept:
Everyones view of the world is as unique as their fingerprint.
This AR app experiments with a unique painting style developed from a study of fingerprints. The experience allows you to draw portals in augmented reality through which you can view your world. The portals function like a camera lens and render your immediate environment into a bespoke interactive fingerprint. You can capture your fingerprinted reality and explore the different layers of the dimensionalised AR fingerprint in a white 3D space - the apps virtual gallery.
From this gallery you can also share your unique AR fingerprint - our aim is to collect as many AR fingerprints from around the world and share them. We want everyone to be able to participate and discover new ways to interact with their world, new technologies and art.
And it all starts with your own finger - unlock your phone and start fingerprinting your world.

Artist profile:
Kanto Iwamura is an architect and artist currently based in Tokyo. He graduated from the Architectural Association in London and received his Diploma in 2010. He currently runs his own interdisciplinary design practice section at Iwamura Atelier in Tokyo where he works on projects that range from murals, sculptural installations as well as residential and commercial architecture
design. Since circa 2011, he has developed a painting style named a maze which consists
of intertwined line strokes to express depth of field. He is now experimenting
with this technique to construct paintings that have potentials to be seen as
both abstract and real.
He is also a founding member of the Summer workshop AAVS Las Pozas taking place in Mexico since 2014 where he experiments with concrete to express abstract and geometric forms.
