The game was originally from France, it first appeared in 1687 on a portrait of Claude-Auguste Berey and was certainly played at the court of the Sun King. It was first mentioned in England in 1746.
In Switzerland this board game is widely referred to as the "Amdener Tubbeli Game". Amden is a village on Lake Walen. Craftsmen in Amden produce such board games.

Comments:
This is a game to get the brain working with out a doubt. Deceptively simple, but that changes quickly. It reminds of a game I enjoyed growing up, that was produced where I live (a wooden triangle 14 holes 13 golf tees). So got a challenge and some nostalgia. All in all a great game requires good strategy without over complicated game play.
It's a great little game, and a perfect fit for those little chunks of time between work and home where there's nothing to do but wait. It has charming music and graphics, and overall gives off a very wholesome feeling.
A very well made game. It can be very difficult, but is still fun and all the more rewarding when you solve it. Many different modes of gameplay, lots of options and customization. I recommend this game.
There need to be hints!!! (Although i can watch walkthrough on yt, but it'd be convenient if there were hints) The cross puzzle is very hard (for me at least), till then, here's a decent rating because there are no ads or IAPs. And yes, please change the controls (I'd prefer drag n drop ones) ( /^ω^)/.
Great, simple to learn but hard to master game. I just wish the game would give an indication or option to restart when no more moves are available'
