Comments:
I understand you have to rotate the screen for this to work but the button that usually appears just doesn't anymore so therefore the app won't work. Disappointing as I think it is a cool concept. I wish they would fix this for the Pixel 3. The fact that it looks as though this has been a problem for months means that I don't think they are working on a fix, it should not take this long. Works on my iPad though which looks like Apple support is a priority and Android is an afterthought. Sad
Freezes & have to close and re open. After a short while it crashes completely & I have to reinstall. First when I've reinstalled my saved boards are there, now they are gone. Also, if I've got a layout on say a metro 24, if I want to keep the same pedals & just change to a larger board, it shrinks the larger board to fit the same space as the small board, but the pedals stay the same size which makes the whole thing redundant. On top of all that most of the pedals are the wrong size anyway!
its ok. This app does the basics for aesthetics but nothing in the way of planning. This first issue is that the background is black like the pedaltrains, but you can work around it by changing the velcro colour. Next there are a lot of pedals missing, such as polytune 3, Gristle king, all of Mooer, vintage pedals like the bluesbreaker etc, timmy (there's a lot missing). No routing options, no jack or DC input options for correct spacing. I didn't even bother looking for PSU's or switchers.
Every day is a new adventure: Will the app work today? Will it lose half of my favorites? Will it populate only a few pedals on each of my saved boards? Those last two were the problem du jour. I really want to like this app. But Pedaltrain, you are making it so hard to like. When it works it's a great tool, but that's become the exception, and not the norm. I'd gladly pay a buck or 2.. or 5 for something that works. I guess in this case you get what you pay for.
Really good, if you have the included pedals. You guys don't have the B3N or the EHX pitchfork+, only the regular pitchfork which is much smaller. No way to custom add. Obviously pedals are constantly evolving and being added so you have to have a way for people to add them."
