DESCRIPTION

Use UptoPlay to play online the game Neutralizer.

Neutralizer is an equalizer made for sound restoration in mind, contrary to many other products that offer ready made profiles for sound distortion. Everybody is different and everybodys hearing is different. You have to test your hearing on devices that take active part in sound reproduction in order to be sure that any adjustments you make will work for you. We offer simple to use interface that needs very little explanations. It is self explanatory. And it is elegant.

Why Neutralizer?

If you would like to improve your listening experience on a mobile device, you would mostly come into conclusion that you need a better hardware. Although in most situations it might be true you dont always know why.
This is because of so many parameters you have to take into account like: the digital to analog conversion, the signal frequency range, the amplification path, the speakers (or headphones) frequency response, the psychoacoustics and so on. You can measure each of the parameters, but to measure them all you only have one deviceyour ears.

One way to improve your hearing ability is to use sound enhancers like equalizers. Most of them distort sound quality but if you use it wisely, you can minimize the deficiencies of your acoustic tract. The key word here is wisely.
In order to do it wisely you have to make some tests to discover the problem.
And thats what Neutralizer does. It tests your hearing ability in key frequency ranges and adapts the system equalizer to take it into account. As simple as that.

Current limitations: the sad fact is that Neutralizer will not work for everybody. There are mobile devices not compatible with our solution that dont allow third party apps to control system equalizer. We are working towards a solution to satisfy everybody, but for the time being your mileage may vary. It is, what it is. Please dont give us bad rating because of this. We told you so.

Enjoy with UptoPlay the online game Neutralizer.

Comments:

Great concept but the interface needs work or maybe better documentation. I have the paid version which supports multiple device profiles. Profile creation is intuitive and works well. The app seems to detect which device is connected and switches to the correct profile. The problem is when I have *no* device connected (just the internal speaker) and the app remains active. It would be nice if the app would only activate when a device is connected (i.e., when needed)

I've been into the audio hobby for decades. But, as I've gotten older, I've lost sensitivity at the treble end of the spectrum. After going through the test, and some follow up profile tweaking, I can hear things on tracks that I haven't heard for years. Made my already good audio setup sound even better. Thank you

I have been looking for something like this! I have had multiple ear surgeries due to otosclerosis, and my right ear is much worse than my left. If you were able to develop a left- right equalization, I think many people would benefit, and pay for the feature. It would be much better than just going into settings in android and changing the balance.

I have some low pitch hearing loss as well as higher pitch sensitivities, so I've spent YEARS fiddling with eq settings on every device just to be able to listen without cringing or feeling like everything sounds muddy. Music has always been a huge part of my life and it's been getting ridiculous, having to spend extra for the nicer earbuds/headphones just so I can enjoy using my ears. This app though...first time I can remember being able to listen to music and hear all of the tones I want and none of them that make my ears hurt to the point of ruining the experience (even at low volumes). If you have finicky ears or hearing problems, I highly recommend this app. Didn't realize how much I was missing until I was able to hear it again.

This app is soooo worth it. I have autism and as a result very sensitive hearing. Certain pitches in music hurt my ears. The problem with that is if I turn the volume down I can't to avoid them I can't hear the rest of the music. This app runs a program to determine your hearing threshold, then tunes the music to your specific hearing. I can now enjoy all the wonder low sounds in my music that I couldn't at low volume without having to cringe from the super high pitches like before."
