It was working fine on my Moto Z4 now it just displays a background screen with settings icon and time/date. No matter what I try to project it doesn't put anything on the screen..it stays in that default time/settings icon mode. I've reset my phone completely and still same result. I tried my projector on another recently set Moto Z4 and it works great. Both phones are running same firmware/Android release and are fully updated. It has to be a bug in the projector software? Please find the fix!
Works fine except that it bugs sometimes; Moto Z3 Play drops frames as soon as I remove the projector, and only a reboot fixes it. Pressing the projector's button doesn't pop up the brightness and keystone controls - good thing it's automatic although brightness isn't. This app hasn't been updated since 2016, which is odd considering the Moto Z4 was out last year and I'd think it uses the same app, just compiled for Android 10. Not a huge disappointment but neither absolute satisfaction.
Fantastic mod and phone! Only issue this far us pairing the projector and ohone when MS Launcher is running. Hopefully this is fixed very soon. Love this product! I bought a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard (they work flawlessly with the phone) and can use the projector to display! Many folks have been wow'd by my presentations. Its a great product
I found a way to bypass that stupid splash screen feature (which only appeared in recent updates) you can force stop and uninstall moto mods manager .. then that splash screen won't appear. But if your phone ever dies or you shut it off/restart, you'll have to play online moto mods manager again to get the projector to work . I enjoyed using the projector paired with a keyboard remote ( like used with android boxes) , but since that splash screen I cannot navigate my home screen. PLEASE FIX THIS
Great. Simply the best Moto Mod. With only one downside: sometimes it has trouble projecting darker colors, and instead they look a bit blue-ish. However, it is not that noticeable, and still a great Mod, almost perfect.'
