Mahadevi Birla World Academy (MBWA) was established in 1959 by illustrious industrialist G D Birla in the name of his wife, Mahadevi Birla. He firmly believed that a nation could progress only when industrial and educational development complemented each other. For him, this meant assigning adequate importance to women's education. His compelling vision led to the founding of MBWA.
This legacy is continued by Shri BK Birla, Late Smt Sarala Birla and Smt Jayashree Mohta, who continue to provide inspiration and support to the school.
