The Masimo SafetyNet Alert app works in conjunction with Masimo SafetyNet Alert, a wireless oxygen monitoring and alert system, to capture and display certain physiological data.For patients with breathing issues, who may need intervention, the solution
provides escalating alerts if your oxygen levels fall below predetermined thresholds, triggering critical early opportunities for you to self-recover or to get help. Masimo SafetyNet Alert is intended to provide spot-check or continuous monitoring of your blood
oxygen saturation (SpO2) and pulse rate (PR) using Masimo Sensor, a lightweight, tetherless, wearable sensor; Masimo Chip, which attaches to the sensor and uses Bluetooth to communicate your monitoring data to the app on your smartphone; and
a bedside station, which securely communicates medical data with a cloud server and provides audible feedback.If your blood oxygen levels decrease below 85% for 30 seconds or longer, the Masimo SafetyNet Alert app and bedside station provide audible and visual
