Love the show, pissed off at this app though. Anytime I pause it and have to reopen it, there's a 50/50 chance it'll either start the stream from the beginning or make my phone crash entirely. The fact that I breathe a sigh of relief now when the stream picks up where it left off should be a clue that this app has some bugs to figure out. I'm on Android, Samsung Note 9. Honestly, I had to come back and edit this review, because now it's nearly every other day that this app will crash my phone.
I really want to rate this app 5 stars. This is my favorite political talk show to listen too. The app is just awful when trying to listen live, though. I have a Pixel 3 and when I play the show, after about 5 seconds it'll pause itself then play again. Now I'm having a new issue where after less than 10 min of listening the show completely shuts off. Makes my phone act weird too. Hopefully there will be an update in the future, but for now I guess I'll make it work with YouTube :-/
Love Sam, but this app sucks. I have a Samsung Note 10+ 5g and this app has lagging skips every few seconds in the audio when listening to the live show. When I listen on YouTube it's seamless and no issues. Also this is the only app on my phone that causes my phone to completely lock up even with the screen off to the point where I have to force restart my phone. Keep up the good work on your show but in terms of this app it needs some major optimizations.
I love the podcast, and the concept of the app. Great for playback of downloaded episodes, but not easy to jump forward/backward 15 or 30 seconds. Scrub bar does not work well for 2.75 hour long files. Also, when live streaming almost always causes my phones (Pixel 2 & Nokia 6) to work abnormally, requiring a reboot.
If you're interested in amazing journalism, covering the facts, and having a good time, you gotta listen to the Majority Report. Great team with a new show every weekday. Best way to stay informed on US Politics without all the other media bias. A Fantastic app, Sam and Team."
