DESCRIPTION

Use UptoPlay to play online the game Litsy.

The only thing that matches the joy of reading a great book is sharing that joy with friends. Thats why we created Litsy for Android.

Litsy is the place to share and discover your favorite books with your favorite people. As readers, our favorite books are recommended by people we respect, not algorithms.

The Litsy community is a groundswell of passionate readers, authors and influencers creating short posts about their "reading moments." These posts are made of blurbs, photos, quotes and reviews, and each post is linked to one book.

Since enjoying a book has no end, Litsy is 100% mobile and allows you to capture whatever bookish thoughts you have, whenever you have them. Litsy also makes it easy to go down the rabbit hole," browsing your feed while on the go. When you find your next book, its easy to add it to your stack for future reading.

Talking about books is a feel-good activity. It shares a piece of yourself, and it helps others. To recognize this, we thought it would be fun to invent the worlds first Litfluence scoring system. Litfluence is our way of showing that what you say about the books you read matters.

Its fun. Its simple. Its rewarding. Its spoiler-free and free to use. And its all about the book.

Sign up and get a little Litsy.

Enjoy with UptoPlay the online game Litsy.

Comments:

On one hand I love Litsy because of the book community and getting to connect with like minded bookworms. However it seems to be turning into one big game of book bingo. There are so many other posts that are not relevant to books that it's hard to sift through. There's no mute button so you're stuck with a very cluttered feed. The UI could also do with an update but it seems the developers have completely abandoned what was a really promising app.

`Meh I really wanted to like this app but it's not easy to add books. I read series that have 10+ books and I had to type in EACH title in the search. Even when I search using the author there was NO ORDER in how they appeared. Not by print date or organized by series. No "find more book in series". It was frustrating to say the least. After 30 min I wanted to delete it. I dont want to see posts by the Litsy on my feed, it's annoying, no way to mute them. Shows up even though I'm NOT following.`,

The page always fails to load. Always. The pictures don't show, or it won't refresh. I do agree with some of the critical reviews; it's becoming an app that's not so much book-related anymore because of all the pictures of cats and flowers and whatnot. Also, it tends to be an exclusive community as some are already a group, and things just basically happen around them (swaps, tags, etc.).

As a platform Litsy is great but this app is in desperate need of an update. It crashes more than half the time, we still cannot tag people without using up precious characters, and the home feed does not automatically refresh. Often tempted to delete it and play online it on my iPod instead. Hopefully it will get a much needed update soon. *I have been using it for 4 months

`I came to Litsy after Amazon purchased Goodreads. I want to love the platform and this app, but both are missing key features and the app feels like its development is stuck in the era of 1st gen smartphones. Here's what the app/platform needs: 1) a dark mode (for the app, since the website offers this); 2) a "reading challenge" or "reading goal" feature to help me track how many books I read in a year; 3) an expanded library of books.`
