Transcending Infinity:

It is basically an idea of surpassing the excellence, or rather, a constant perseverance to achieve excellence, because quest for perfection and excellence is not a destination but a journey. The closer you go to it, farther it will be from you. So, fundamentally, it is an unending process. And this is what each and everyone at Lingua Franca is supposed to get inspiration from. Inspiration to learn- in order to bring perfection and excellence in their life.
Inspiration to impart knowlege and learnings.
Inspiration to do well in what they do--be it organizing an event or doing any other thing in life.
Inspiration to motivate not only others but also themselves in order to bring out the best from them.
It is basically a sort of motto for Lingua Franca to continuously strive to attain milestones by walking through the literary esplanade.
Infinity is something which is not defined or is unattainable; similar should be the hunger to excell in literary activities.
This phrase can be epitomised as the pursuit of tryst with excellence.(Here in LF excellence pertaining to literary paraphernalia)

Logo of LF:

The logo shows the silhouette of a meditating person giving an idea of an ascetic.
In India, the gurus, saints, sadhus, ascetics believed that by meditation anyone can achieve the salvation, the enlightenment, and the excellence in this life.
Meditation was seen as a tool to acquire a huge wealth of knowledge. Hence, is the reason for that logo.
So in a nutshell, the logo of LF is a silhouette of an ascetic who is meditating with legs crossed, forming the symbol of infinity, in order to acquire knowledge for the excellence in life.
