The first vocab list was fascinating. However, in my attempts to study it while offline to consider purchasing, it sent me back to the menu and said I had seven tries left. It's the old shareware style, x number of tries... with frugal... x time per try. This concerns me because I like studying offline, and this appears to do checks that would prevent that application. Otherwise, the artwork is beautiful, the first very interesting... but I'll have to take more time and think about it.

Here's my gripes: -There's no way to tell which scores I've passed. I'm skipping around multiple modules and I lost track. -Apparently you can only get 2 tokens an hour. I don't have time to watch the clock, I practice for an hour or two each day. If I only get 2-4 tries in all that time, I don't see much value. -I hate that practice spends tokens, and I lost some to mistakes. So I would never buy them. I like the app otherwise and might buy No Ads, but I'm reluctant in case of more issues.

It was nice at first, I completed 100% the first module and had 4 tokens. I went to next one an entered by accident a stage i wasn't ready for, when i went back it treated it as a loss, which fine, but it took ALL my 4 tokens AND the app doesn't let me load ads to get more. Says there's a problem with my internet even when i can use it just fine.

This is actually a pretty dope app. The idea of those tokens is quite smart since it force to you to pay more attention and to take more seriously every session of learning. I would like though to have the option to adjust the level of music, not only to be able to turn on/off.

Nice memorization game organized by categories. Challenge by reading, listening, or both with or without furigana and romaji. Pretty pastel art style. Delay of word pronunciation could be reduced (slows game); a bit sluggish. Unlock price should be cheaper considering simple functionality and the number of competing study apps. I could actually program this game myself easily in native Android; Unity is overkill. I don't want to pay more than $3 for this app."
