Use UptoPlay to play online the game Knit Pattern - Row Counter.
Save new projects by entering the stitch pattern for each row. Work on a project by selecting it from the main list and view the pattern row by row. Use the stitch counter and the spare counter to track your progress within the row.
Projects can be added, deleted, or edited. Disable the phone's sleep mode to remove the hassle of waking up the phone and unlocking it.

Not bad, but pattern input is tedious, and i wish there was the option for row pattern and count to start at 0 for cast on. Or to select which row to input the pattern, so if i add row and select row # go be 3 and insert pattern instruction, then add row and select row #7 and insert a pattern instruction, it's implied the same row instructions are applied to rows #3-6. Also took me a bit to realise row count increment is on top and not with the rest of the coumters. Just.... little UX things.
If you knit like I do or crochet get this app.
After row 4 I couldn't add any more rows.

row counter was okay but I don't recommend this app
Perfect for my needs, can easily add rows (as many as I require (beyond 4)) and can add individual stitch info. for each row Thanks.'
