What is the gut microbiota?
The intestinal microbiota refers to the set of microorganisms that cohabit in our body, and is mainly made up of bacteria, viruses and fungi that help us maintain the balance in our body.

What is the use of analyzing my intestinal microbiota?
The functions of the intestinal microbiota are multiple.
1. The defense. Strengthens the immune system by defending us against harmful microorganisms. Between 70 and 80% of the immune system is found in our digestive tract.
In addition, some intestinal bacteria of our microbiota prevent against certain diseases such as asthma, allergies or intolerances, obesity...
