I've been trying to determine a bird call that I've heard on many videos of northern Australia, usually around waterways. This app was a great help in tracking it down. The Peaceful Dove.
I used this app to identify birds while in Kakadu. The fact that the app drills down to birds in specific locations within the park makes it particularly useful. If you're planning a trip to Kakadu you really need this app

`Generally a very good app with a lot useful information. I like the way birds are categorised by the location in the park you're likely to see them. App is slow to start ("syncing") and the maps are too small to read on my phone and can't be zoomed in to, so 4 stars.`,Does not cover stone country birds, a fairly huge gap for kakadu. Disappointing, but ok for most visitors who stay in the lowlands i guess.'
