Jaaja application is. designed to monitor Ugandans working abroad especially those in the middle East.
Reports of absurd working environments and human rights abuse have been circulating all over the internet involving African(Ugandan) young men and women.
The government of Uganda through the Ministry of Gender Labour & Social Development has contracted Jaaja IT Solutions Limited to build an application that can monitor these good citizens of Uganda striving for a better life in higher economies.
The application will be used as follows;
1. Track device location of its user to allow the teams on ground locate the user or have a starting point in locating the user in case of emergency situations.
2. Allow Ugandan workers submit complaint in case they feel there has been violation of any clause in the contract by their employers.
3. Provide capability to submit emergency information in intense situations.(the app has a big red emergency button which triggers video recording and submits a recorded video without interruption to officials in Uganda.) who then reviews this information only and dispatches a special team to track and sort out any issues that may need emergency attention.
