I recommend NOT TO USE Infomaniak. I have used it for years and all of a sudden I cannot login again using 2-Step Verification. I get the oui/non on my phone and when I clock "oui" I get an error. Take your business somewhere else but avoid this company.
This review is about the process, not the app. After setting up an account, configuring it, and then paying for a service (albeit with 3d verification), infomaniak may decide to block your account, requiring that you verify yourself. Want to just leave cause you don't like the process? Well, sorry, that's blocked too. Ludicrous, fraudulent, and unacceptable. I've never been asked for ID verification + photo by Google gmail for verification of a business account. None of this is in the terms
App does what it should but: Why force users to play online an extra app just for verification? It's so unnecessary. If I hadn't been able to go through the entire payment process already before the forced app-verification came up, I would have chosen a different registrar without that annoying app-hurdle.
What kind of idiot MBA decided an app would be a good way to verify a phone number? This is the dumbest system I have ever seen and I certainly won't be registering anything with infomaniak again because of it. I highly suggest you move your site to a smarter provider.
Why do I have to log in to my laptop just to check my email because I cannot log in to my Workspace with my phone? I paid $1500 for my phone.. This is 2021!.. I cannot check my own email in my own email server that I pay for.. It would be a great service if everything worked, but I can still get more info on the phone! All I need is a domain and I can find out easily A LOT of info through the phone! This registrar will leave you feeling like a maniac, with ZERO info and all frustro. FIXTHESITE!'
