Video art is an art form which relies on using video technology as a visual and audio medium. Video art emerged during the late 1960s as new consumer video technology such as video tape recorders became available outside corporate broadcasting. Video art can take many forms: recordings that are broadcast; installations viewed in galleries or museums; works streamed online, distributed as video tapes or DVDs; and performances which may incorporate one or more television sets, video monitors, and projections, displaying live or recorded images and sounds.

WHO IS IN BETWEEN ART FILM
In Between Art Film is a film production company founded in 2012 by Beatrice Bulgari specializing in the production of independent and documentary films based on an interdisciplinary approach and exchange between the different artistic languages of our time.

A fundamental part of our vision is to explore the increasingly osmotic borders between video, installation, photographic, and performative art. We work at the intersection of contemporary art and film, trying to grasp what is to be gained by erasing the boundaries between them. In doing so we are creating an environment that fosters the interaction of artists and audiences to the benefit of all. Our goal is to give artists the tools to express themselves freely through film, without the constraints inherent to the industry.
