I-SPEED vm (Include - SPEcial EDucation Video Modeling) is an application aimed at supporting autonomy, social behavior and the organization of daily routines through archiving
and gradual exposure of visual steps and videomodeling films. Indicated to respond to needs and difficulties in the cognitive and relational fields, it was born within the research project "Autism, Video
Modeling and Augmented Reality "of the University of Urbino, supported by the Italian Foundation for Autism (FIA). The structure is inspired by the TaskAbile application created by the ANGSA Association

The system acts as an activator of digital aids to support situated objective behaviors, each activity can be broken down into sub-actions (task-analysis) to be presented in the form of a visual-textual list
contextually to the need. The archive allows the personalized categorization of visuals (photos, symbols, pictograms, animations and videos) usable through a dynamic display. The peculiarity consists of the three
different ways in which help can be called up: direct selection (dynamic display);
through the weekly scheduling (schedule of activities); framing the QR-codes to be placed next to the explanatory icons placed accurately in the environment (eg. on the workstation, on the door of the classroom
and wardrobe, near the sink, telephone, clothes hanger, canteen station, etc.). The combination of the available functions of I-SPEED vm make the application highly flexible both for enabling purposes and
didactic, it also lends itself to being a valid compensatory and assistive support able to support the strategies for augmentative and alternative communication.
The application, funded by the Italian Foundation for Autism (FIA), was produced within the research project "Autism, Video Modeling and Augmented Reality" of the Department of Humanities
(DISTUM) of the University of Urbino. Various schools in the province of Vicenza, Pesaro and Urbino, Gorizia and the Francesca Social Educational Center in Urbino participated in the control phases.
