This game should be an example to all mobile devs. Great monetization strategy without intrusive ads, short tutorial that isnt annoying (could be a little more specific), unique and challenging gameplay, good replay value, and simplistically gorgeous pixel graphics. Little hard to figure out exactly which moves or jumps will result in an attack and which wont. It says you need to jump directly towards them to attack but that doesnt seem to cover every instance
I downloaded this the first time almost five years ago. It has been one of the first things I play online each time I get a new phone since then. It is fun, and challenging, yet simple. This is a modern classic in the vein of chess, with deep strategy offering dedicated players rewards, but simple enough to be a momentary distraction in a moment of down time. An excellent game.
Deceptively simple. Many different monsters & randomized level layout challenges your tactical skills. Each move and upgrade choice can lead to defeat 10 moves out. Plan Ahead! There are idiots in the world, I saw one earlier in the reviews. "After beating the game BOOM, I hit a paywall". Paywall is a term referencing games that seem F2P but require *repeat* purchases to play competitively. 80% of gameplay is without purchase, and a small one-time purchase unlucks the rest. Great Game.
Very well made. I rarely come across a game like this. Clearly has a strong learning curve. It takes plenty of thought to make progress. A simple game with good music and a wide array of upgrade paths to choose from. Would love to buy premium when I get the chance! One of the things I would complain about is getting hit by archers by a blundered move. I eventually learned to be cautious and stopped getting hit but at first it was very frustrating. Other than that the game is marvelous.
A simple but puzzling game, where you defeat increasingly difficult levels of enemies, each with specific strengths and weaknesses to exploit. Later levels increase the number of enemies, but as you progress, you get to choose special abilities/upgrades to accompany a range of strategies. Completing achievements unlocks even more special abilities as well. If a game like chess is too repetitive for you, despite the billions of game outcomes, then maybe this will feel a bit so too. I'd recommend."
