DESCRIPTION

Use UptoPlay to play online the game Friday - by Friedemann Friese.

You are helping Robinson, who came ashore on your island, fight against many hazards. At the beginning, Robinson is not very skillful. With each fight he wins you will improve his abilities, but defeats are also helping to get rid off of his worse habits. However, life on the island is energy-sapping, so that Robinson not only gains experiences during his time there, but also starts aging and tends to get clumsy.
In this game, Robinson is represented as a card stack of different behaviors. You are forced to improve this card stack, so you can collect the cards at the end of the game to give Robinson the best chance to win against the tough pirates!

We added a new exciting feature: King of the Island !

In this tournament up to 1024 players are fighting to become the true ruler of the island!
This player can then call itself "King of the Island" until the next winner is crowned in 2 weeks...

Also added a bunch of new achievements waiting to be earned by you!

Enjoy with UptoPlay the online game Friday - by Friedemann Friese.

Comments:

Features obnoxious pop-up advertisements for their other games, which have no place in a paid app. The gameplay is fun and challenging, a testament to the flawless design of the original board game. However, the tutorial/instructions are near non-existent in the digital version. Many spelling errors; I can guess what "disctracted" was meant to say, but how do i get an "Ear Victory"? It is required for an achievement... ...

It's nearly impossible to learn or relearn the game in this app, unfortunately. It looks good, at least. Its audio setting doesn't work: I disabled sounds, which silenced the title music, but then I started the game, and there were music and sound effects.

Good implementation of the board game. It badly needs an info button, though, because the controls are not very intuitive. Also, it frequently crashes when you try and resume a saved game. Best to only play it when you have the time to play it through in one sitting!

The card game this app is based on is an amazing solo experience packed into a small box. Each game has this amazing arc where you're building up your capabilities facing challenges, slowly at first and failing often. Then things ramp up in a very satisfying way and you're just barely hanging on by the skin of your teeth until you finally pull out the win or succumb to the withering onslaught. This app is an excellent port of this very fun and challenging little solo card game.

Very fun game with a biweekly tournament! It also clarifies some of the rules that may be ambiguous on table top. I gave it 4 stars in graphics because some of the menues fade and therefore hover over what you want to see. But not for long, and it's really not that big of a deal. Enjoy!"
