Sick of playback error messages and resuming a show but it takes you back twenty minutes, not where you left off. Shows freeze, distorted images. Can't be bothered with an app that doesn't work.
Complete waste of time, doesn't work at all on a brand new Chromebook, nor does the beta version. Saves you money because you can cancel your subscription and go with Stan, or Disney+, or Paramount+, or Netflix, or Amazon Prime...etc. All of which work on a Chromebook. Edit: Still doesn't work on a Chromebook. Chromebook runs entirely on apps you get from the Google Play Store. You get Foxel Go from the Google Play Store, which doesn't work on Chromebooks. errr?
Quite pathetic that this app is still unusable on Android 12. If this was a free service then it could be understood but considering this is a paid service, and a relatively expensive one at that, it's completely unacceptable. Not to mention the complete lack of actual customer support and rather responding with generic nonsense. Your company had better pray it never loses sport because that is seriously the only thing that keeps Foxtel relevant. Edit: Re-downloaded on Jan 13, the app is working
Just awful. Trying to navigate the sports section is impossible. Everything is listed by a useless 'episode' number without a date and not in chronological order, with no sort function. Search is hopeless. One of the worst UX designs I have seen.
For months ive resisted writing this 1 star review for this godawful, broken app. Foxtel customer for near 20 years, and still despite all the Foxtel replies saying Android support is here, i still get nothing but wrong password errors on login to FoxtelGo app. Ive uninstalled/reinstalled multiple times, reset my password multiple times, all to no avail. Suddenly stopped working a few months back. Absolute POS.'
