Follow the Camino organises great walking holidays along the Camino de Santiago since 2007. We have developed this app especially for our clients so that they can travel more relaxed.
Once you have a booking with us, you will be able to access your trip details. This includes the list of all of your the services we have booked for you. Get your accommodations details and location. Contact them or get direction at the touch of a finger. See your transfer details too as well as other service (day tours etc)
Also, you can navigate on your set itinerary. Your route is broken down into walking days which are customised to your itinerary. Get the Days key data such as distance, duration, ascent/descent and more to guarantee you make the most of your journey.
Also for your safety we have developed a safety area where you can access to 4 different levels of help.
1/ From your service supplier. This is ideal if you are arriving late to your accommodation for example.
2/ Our 24/7 service line. We have several layers of security when it comes to your booking to make sure it is all in order. However, if a luggage is late to arrive or you need help to communicate with our supplier, call us so that we can help you out.
3/ In case of emergency, you have a direct call button for emergency services. You are very very unlikely going to use it but as they say just in case...
4/ Share your location. You may need a lift some day or need assistance. For that we allow you to share your location via text message.

All our customers get a personalised holiday pack with walking notes and maps, services vouchers. These are sent to you by PDF. You may choose whether or not to print them. Even if you have them printed, you may forget them in your suitcase while you walk or they may get wet as you travel. So we like to think about this app as a traveling companion. Your mobile is in your pocket and contains all the details for your trips. These PDF are directly accessible from the app (given you have downloaded them once on your device via the app).
Also, navigate with the app makes an enhanced experience. You can see where you are relative to where you should be at all time. So never get lost again.
