Dogs have been selectively bred for thousands of years, sometimes by inbreeding dogs from the same ancestral lines, sometimes by mixing dogs from very different lines. The process continues today, resulting in a wide variety of breeds, hybrids, and types of dog. As such, dogs are the only animal with such a wide variation in appearance without speciation, "from the Chihuahua to the Great Dane."
The following list uses a wide interpretation of "breed." Breeds are usually categorized by the functional type from which the breed was developed. The basic types are companion dogs, guard dogs, hunting dogs, herding dogs, and working dogs, although there are many other types and subtypes. Breeds listed here may be traditional breeds with long histories as registered breeds, rare breeds with their own registries, or new breeds that may still be under development.

Very informative, easy to use, and an easy read (not full of technical scientific terms). I would have liked to been able to sort by size, energy level, and temperament. The addition of designer breeds such as the pomsky would also be nice. I like that I didn't have to login to save my favorites and I could easily share the list.
Adds adds adds more adds, adds to wait for adds. I use to love this app lots of info for dog breeds. But lately the amount of adds makes this app useless to read multiple breeds. Scroll down the list see adds, more adds click on a breed adds you MUST wait for at times others you can click alway after 10 secs. Oh you clicked the wrong breed just hit the back button and wait for another 10 sec add. Then click the right breed wait for another add etc
The ads are mildly annoying but necessary. The app itself is nice because many international breeds that usually don't get included in dog breed books are here. Including the hundreds of other seldom recognized breeds and the newer or still developing breeds would be difficult so I don't fault you for not including them. There are some grammar and formatting errors that need fixed though. Fix the errors and offer a way to remove the ads then I'll give you 5 stars.
