It works on my other old phone, but it doesn't work on my Samsung galaxy J5 pro. I set the alarm, cooked my food, waiting the alarm to tell me turn off the heat, it let me down.
Best user interface timer app. Very convenient. But time wasn't correct. For example, when I set 48 minutes, this wakes in 50 minutes (almost 2 minutes delayed)

Not running on background and no alarm then.
This app simply does not work. It has a good UI and requests fewer permissions than any other timer app I've found. Unfortunately, all that is worthless because there is no notification when the timer is up, even with screen unlocked. Please fix this dev."
