`App hasn't been updated in more than 2 years. The detailed road info is mostly just Denver metro & about 1/2 of I-70. I-25 is pretty much ignored. The road-condition & construction info does seem to update on the map, but the map says it "can't Google read maps correctly" & "for demonstration purposes only." Without the road-condition info on the map, the app would be completely useless, & it's pretty bad as it is.`,This app can't be made any more useless for driving on other roads than the interstates. The maps don't work so you can't navigate to other routes. The alerts don't identify what road they apply to until you click on each individual alert. This app actually used to be useful, but is a waste now. No stars would be accurate.
This app has gotten worse, nearly impossible to get other areas and highways of the state other than I70 and I25. Cameras and info do not come up anymore. We travel mostly southern colorado and would like this information. The old app, you could pick which highway you would like, now cannot get that option. Its better to use the actual webpage on my phone than this.
I expected better from CDOT. There are so many places to look, you can't figure out where to find where the closures are. When you find the master closure list, it's called Alerts, and it just says closure closure closure, without showing which road is closed. Then when you open one, it just says the name of the road, without indicating where that road is closed. It's useless. I'm deleting it.
Miserable app. Google maps shows up black in developer mode, select a video camera to view and it throws an error, and takes you to the home page losing map context, the location details dont fill in with times to 470/DIA. Given the I70 issues the least CDOT could do is have a functioning app. Go look at Wyoming DOT or COTREX as examples that Government IT can actually be good.'
