Comments:
This app has helped immensely while teaching myself German. Easy to use, pleasant to look at, worth the money for sure.
Well, for a long time I had a reliable German dictionary app that I could use when I wanted to. All of a sudden, I have an annoying button that shows up on my phone screen when I am using other apps. It gets in the way and hijacks my attention. How do I turn this off? Notifications were already disabled.
Doesn't work at all. I paid for it, assuming it would be ad free. It was actually content free.
Unusable without premium. A new ad with a short timer appears whenever you search a new word or swipe the screen.
This dictionary is a great resource, but the Tap to Translate feature should be OFF by default. When it is on, certain keyboard shortcuts (eg Crtl + C) and menu items (eg Copy) automatically fire up the dictionary. It took me a while to work out what was causing it, and in fact I uninstalled the dictionary at one point because I thought the app was buggy. It would also be better if the Tap to Translate screen didn't display full screen (on Chrome OS) and cover up everything else."
