i find this admirable. even quite out of the way German is supported--Wagner's librettos, for instance. particularly appreciated are the Austrian equivalents, very thorough. it's easy to use. fine app. good value.
Searches for words with u & umlaut bring up nothing. Oxford German dic is more user friendly. Ads are very intrusive, taking up whole screen in the middle of finding out translation.
I actually used to prefer paper dictionaries, but this one is ground-breaking - as detailed and in-depth as any paper edition.
Too many ads. Also, does not contain the 9th edition (yet). Not sure does the paid version have verb conjugation; this kind of things could be written in the app info page...
Very good for the number of definitions and examples, but lots of errors in the preterites and past participles.'
