The tutorial has been rather fun in the tutorial. Sadly, I don't feel like there is quite enough content before the need to pay to continue, in order to really grasp the worth of the game, without looking through reviews of those who talk about the content after the tutorial. *** I just went to try and buy the subscription and saw that it includes a 3 day trial period where you can cancel and not pay anything if you do before the end of the trial. That is better than I was thinking of. :D
Seems fun, a one time payment of $5 at the most. Definitely not $5 a month. Uninstalled.
I believe I ran into a single bug. Copper can be embedded in two materials but they both show the same hardness. This was pretty aggravating because I had to program against position instead of something my robots sensors could detect. My drill couldn't break it. That made the 2000 point goal the hardest to reach in the game. The heat sensor proved all but useless to me. The imaging was only good for avoiding falls when moving forward - so beyond the initial equip the upgrades were not needed.
Was a lot of fun for the tutorial part. Game probably isn't for absolute beginners of programming, I think. Also I'd pay a flat fee for the full game, but not a big fan of subscriptions unless it's an MMO
