As much as I miss live music, I have really been enjoying watching videos of musicians. So fun to see pianists and violinists fingers SO CLOSE UP. And it's great to hear a little about them and see a little of their homes. So personal. I really feel like I am getting to know them, which makes the music more special.
This Chautauqua Assembly on-line experience has been really well done. When I watch the worship services, presentations and performances I am reminded of being there in person and it brings up both feelings of joy and sorrow. I have enjoyed a 9 week "Stay"cation with Chautauqua this summer. I dreaded having to be at home alone all summer with no travel plans. The Virtual platform organized my days, entertained me, educated me and kept ne connected to a place that I hold dear in my heart. I look forward to being physically at CI next season. I did miss having the Chautauqua Daily. What a bargain for $45 year going forward. I am a Chatauquan and consider myself an Ambassador so talk about our beloved place to others
