DESCRIPTION
Use UptoPlay to play online the game Cellular Automaton Builder.
A Cellular Automaton is a grid of cells, each in a certain state, that changes and behaves a certain way based on a set of rules. Cellular Automata were first created by Stansilaw Ulam and John Von Neumann in the 1940's, and made famous by the popular "Game of Life" rule set created by John Conway in the 1970's. Today Cellular Automata are not only fun to create, but also serve practical uses such procedural generation and simulation of complex systems in physics, chemistry, and biology.

Comments:
Not a game so much as an excellent CA explorer with some great options for custom rulesets. It's limited compared to most other apps like it except for one redeeming feature: the ability to create any number of transition rules btw. different states, allowing for some great unique CAs. The lack of updates is unfortunate, but i often use it on mobile as frequently as Golly, Geza, etc...
This is the best version of Conway's Game of Life I've seen yet, by virtue of the fact that you can play Brian's Brain, and Wireworld as well. It also has options to change tye game rules, so you can easily program in Inkspot, Anneal, High Life or anything else in that family of automatons.
Well with a look. The UI can be a bit frustrating, and of course it's always possible to wish for more features, but it's very intuitive to define transition rules and watch them play out.
Pretty good game. Would be a bit better with some more features like cells that can have larger radiuses
its a very good app, has built in ca's and is easy to use and understand"
